Job Term: Part-time, short-term
Job Purpose: ISNA Canada is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to join the Marketing, Media & Communications Department. The Social Media Coordinator plays a key role in documenting and communicating ISNA Canada’s initiatives to the community through our online channels, while serving a line of communication between the community and the organization.
Primary Duties:
- Brainstorm and execute engaging social media content ideas.
- Document ISNA Canada’s events and initiatives through social media stories, Instagram Reels, TikToks. Experience with photography and copyrighting (captions, emails, webcopy) is a huge asset!
- Manage social media campaigns from start to finish including planning, scheduling, shooting and editing.
- Collaborate with other departments to create content for various campaigns and initiatives.
- Respond to online queries in a timely manner, while relaying any feedback/requests to the respective team members.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
- Develop and implement social media campaigns to drive engagement and reach.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and feedback.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in various social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter & Threads.
- In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of photography including but not limited to: cameras, lighting, framing, photo-editing, etc.
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite resources such as Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop is an asset, but not required.
