Position Overview
ISNA Cares, in partnership with CCSS, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Webmaster / Marketing Coordinator to support our digital presence and community outreach efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in redeveloping our website, enhancing user experience, and supporting marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the organization’s website, including content uploads, edits, and troubleshooting
- Ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices
- Improve user experience (UX) through thoughtful design, layout enhancements, and intuitive navigation
- Identify and resolve broken links, outdated content, and performance issues
- Design marketing materials (e.g., flyers, social media posts, banners) using Canva
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Manage and update content across social media platforms
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging online content
- Monitor website analytics and provide basic performance insights
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility for the Canada Summer Jobs program (e.g., between 15–30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada)
- Experience working with WordPress (themes, plugins, content management)
- Strong understanding of UX design principles and user-centered design
- Proficiency in Canva or similar graphic design tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Assets
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with SEO and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Familiarity with nonprofit or community-based organizations
- Interest in community engagement and social services
Compensation
$17.60 per hour
