Location: Hybrid; Work from Home with occasional travel to Aurora and Mississauga offices  

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Canada Summer Jobs Program)  

Duration: 8 weeks  

Position Overview
ISNA Cares, in partnership with CCSS, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Webmaster / Marketing Coordinator to support our digital presence and community outreach efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in redeveloping our website, enhancing user experience, and supporting marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website, including content uploads, edits, and troubleshooting  
  • Ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices  
  • Improve user experience (UX) through thoughtful design, layout enhancements, and intuitive navigation  
  • Identify and resolve broken links, outdated content, and performance issues  
  • Design marketing materials (e.g., flyers, social media posts, banners) using Canva  
  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns  
  • Manage and update content across social media platforms  
  • Collaborate with program teams to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging online content  
  • Monitor website analytics and provide basic performance insights  

Required Qualifications
  • Eligibility for the Canada Summer Jobs program (e.g., between 15–30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada)
  • Experience working with WordPress (themes, plugins, content management)
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles and user-centered design
  • Proficiency in Canva or similar graphic design tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Assets
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with SEO and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or community-based organizations
  • Interest in community engagement and social services


Compensation

$17.60 per hour
